Baking Soda

There are several studies validating the authenticity of baking soda bath for treating yeast infections. Add ¼ cup of baking soda into the bathing bucket and wait till it dissolves in the water. Wash gently your vagina with that water and use a soft towel for gently patting your skin dry. 

Plain Yogurt and Honey 

A mixture of natural yogurt and honey can relieve vagina itching. 


According to research, a mixture of yogurt and honey when applied to the vagina can relieve yeast infection better than antifungal creams. Similarly, another study suggests that honey and yogurt can give optimal results regarding soothing vagina. 

Choose a plain, unsweetened yogurt that contains live cultures (also referred to as probiotics).

Some people apply yogurt directly to the vagina. This is usually done by dipping a tampon into the yogurt and then inserting it into the vagina for a few hours.
