What to Expect?
Once you have undergone the procedure, your skin could get pinkish for several days. Your skin will shine more than expected during this period. After around 3 days post-treatment, your skin will begin chipping and turn out to be tight and dry. From here to around 5 days post-treatment, you can saturate your face daily. Avoid any extra flaking for at least ten days after the treatment. In the case that there are any symptoms, they will be minor and go away in few days.
After having your PCA peel procedure, you may immediately experience slight redness and swell in the treated areas, but this won’t stay for long and vanish away in few hours. You may also experience slight flake and stretch of the skin. Patients should follow the home care advice of their clinician after the treatment. - Do not apply cold water immediately after the procedure
- Avoid shower and swimming for at least 2 days
